Dr Siddharth Trivedi is a consultant cardiologist and advanced cardiovascular imaging specialist. He has just returned from a prestigious two year advanced multimodality cardiovascular imaging fellowship at the world-renowned Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, USA, where he received highly specialized, cutting-edge training in Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI, advanced echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He is a CTCA and Cardiac MRI Specialist as accredited by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. Siddharth is also on the education committee of Society of Cardiovascular CT (SCCT), Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC).
Prior to his subspeciality training in multi-modality cardiovascular imaging, Dr Trivedi was awarded the highly respected National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Postgraduate Scholarship and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSANZ) Research Scholarship to complete his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Sydney on clinical applications of advanced echocardiography techniques. He has published more than 20 peer reviewed articles in high ranking journals, as well as multiple book chapters. He was the recipient of the 2021 Cardiac Imaging Prize from CSANZ and the 2021 Young Investigator Award from Echo Asia. He received outstanding general medicine and cardiology training at one of the busiest tertiary hospitals in Australia, Westmead Hospital. Dr Trivedi is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ).
Dr Trivedi’s practice encompasses all aspects of adult cardiology, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure, and preventive cardiology, as well as all aspects of advanced cardiovascular imaging, including performing and reporting Coronary CT Angiography, Cardiac MRI, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.
